PayPal Hates Children and Christmas

I recently stumbled upon this post and it really made me angry. Fear not, this will not be a long rant – just short and to the point.

PayPal, you’re a bunch of Douchebags that hate Christmas and Children, and quite frankly – You Suck.

There is nothing worse for a brand then bad customer service AND social media. Here is a painful and real excerpt of a conversation between PayPal and one of their customers:

WE WILL TRACK YOUR SHIPMENTS

PAYPAL: The only way you’d be allowed to sell these as gifts is if you sent them directly to the person who bought them. And we will track your shipments and make sure it goes to the buyer.
ME: That’s discriminatory! You don’t make other retailers send purchases to the buyer only, especially not at Christmas.
PAYPAL: No one but a nonprofit would send gifts to someone else on buyer’s behalf.
ME: What about Amazon?
PAYPAL: We know what you’re doing and we’re through playing games with you

Douchebags.

EndRant.

Hey, I saw that whole thing/conversation just yesterday. So often customer service reps on the phone are unbelievably rude. What would happen if companies would begin having customer service deal with you via webcam? Would the reps be that rude making eye contact?

Yes… I been on the receiving end a couple of times already! 😦

LOL I love the webcam comparison. I just wonder whatever happened to common courtesy?

      Thanks for the comment!
